Tim brings more than 40 years of service and achievement in challenging military and private-sector business leadership positions. He is a Strategy and Innovation Expert specializing in affecting visionary leadership, strategic planning, metric performance management helping businesses grow and morph over decades.
As CEO and President of Pharos Group, he was responsible for every aspect of business, customer service, finance, profitability, business development, HR, operations, and developing and implementing high-level strategic communications ensuring all contracts perform work on schedule and within budget. He led Pharos, Group Inc. to the 727th spot (29th in Government Services) on Inc. Magazine’s 2021 list of America’s fastest growing companies. He successfully sold the company in 2022.
Tim is a 23-year Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard where he focused on Maritime Operations, Training and Education, and Balanced Scorecard Strategic Planning.
Time is also a service-disabled Veteran with a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford, UK, a Masters of Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon and is former Adjunct professor at The George Washington University and Associate Professor at the Coast Guard Academy (2001 Instructor of the Year). In 2011 he was named Virginia’s Small Businessman of the Year.
