Sherri Lee Simons brings more than 35 years of progressive executive healthcare experience to any client engagement. As a certified critical care nurse, she specializes in applying clinical and operational expertise to successfully drive organizational change. Her experience enables organizations to produce happier, healthier patients and employees, while her knowledge of computer science and information technology aids providers in storing and using mountains of data.
Her expertise in enhancing patient safety has consistently reduced risk while achieving operational excellence. She works with clients to identify, evaluate, and implement evidence-based medicine and build collaborative associations to improve the quality and consistency of care provided to patients.
Ms. Simons brings an innovative and comprehensive approach to problem-solving and building organizational future states. She is certified as a Prosci Change Management Practitioner, a Design Thinking Practitioner, and a Health Level Seven (HL7) Control Specialist. Her experience in strategic planning, business process reengineering, patient flow, and continuous process improvement provides clients with a solid foundation for any desired end state.
She has an extensive background in training and is a Master Instructor for TeamSTEPPS®. Ms. Simons co-chairs several national healthcare conferences and is a frequent presenter at local, regional, and national meetings.
